What is your current job in Stockholm? How long did it take you to find this job?

I work as a Wind and Turbine Performance engineer in OX2 Wind, a developer of Wind Power projects in the Nordics and Europe.  I took me approximately 5 months to find this job, from the time I actively started searching.

What do you like best about your job?

The main thing that I like about my job is that it allows me to  develop my skills and personality through the daily work tasks. On the same time, it fulfills my greatest drive, which is to contribute to world’s sustainability.

“It was important to be able to refer to my SDCN experience when looking for opportunities in Stockholm.”

Did SDCN help you in your job search?

I participated in many of SDCN’s events before finding this job. I did the guidance hour and went to useful events for CV and profile building. However, I believe that being a member of  SDCN’s management team was what helped me the most, by gaining experience in working within a Swedish setting. It was important to be able to refer to this experience when looking for opportunities in Stockholm.

“Follow your intuition and be spontaneous!”

What advice would you give to other SDCN members looking for employment in Stockholm?

Do not be stressed, have a plan, do what you need to do with creating a good CV that demonstrates your skills and experience. But, most important, follow your intuition and be spontaneous.
