Puck Imants

Welcome, President Puck!

Welcome, President Puck!

Put your hands together for Puck Imants, who takes over as the President of the SDCN Management Team!

Puck is from the Netherlands and has an academic background in data science, human factors and traffic behaviour. She has worked as a researcher and a consultant both in her home country as well as abroad in Australia in projects advising public and private sectors on topics such as road safety, wayfinding, in-car human machine interfaces, etc.

Puck joined the SDCN Management Team in September 2021, and has since then been an active part of the SDCN community. Having lived in Australia and been a newcomer to Stockholm herself, Puck is no stranger to arriving on alien shores.

She resonates with the experiences that the accompanying partners go through, and appreciates the role that SDCN plays in integrating them to a new place – “Moving to another country has many ups and downs and for me the support of SDCN has made this change much easier and more fun. Through SDCN I learned more about the Swedish language, culture, and the job market. But most of all, sharing my progress with other members who have gone through or are going through the same changes has been a huge help.

I am honoured to take over the presidency from Sheetal. Her hard work for SDCN is much appreciated and we’re wishing her all the best with her new job. I’m looking forward to contribute to SDCN and I hope our network will support many more members in making Stockholm a place where they find work and make friends – a place to call home.”

We wish Puck the best of luck, and look forward to her stewardship and enthusiasm in guiding SDCN.
