Education in Sweden with UHR

Education in Sweden with UHR

On March 1, we had the pleasure of welcoming to SDCN Marleen Whiteley, Head of English Communication of the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). Marleen touched on a variety of topics regarding education, such as the role of UHR in the Swedish higher education system; the recognition of foreign qualifications in Sweden; avenues for regulated professions to convert their qualifications or getting their profession recognised in Sweden; admissions into higher education courses in Sweden; and useful websites that we could seek guidance from.

We were lucky to get first-hand tips from Marleen and having her share some real-life experiences she herself encountered in Sweden. The afternoon session was filled by Marleen’s wit and humour that no coffee was needed to keep one awake! We sincerely thank Marleen for this wonderful and valuable session which we all greatly benefited from.
