Civic orientation course – learn more about the Swedish society

Did you move to Sweden as a next-of-kin immigrant? Then you might have the right to take the course in civic orientation, a course in your mother tongue about the Swedish society. The course is aimed for refugees as well as ‘love immigrants’ from countries outside of the EEA/Switzerland. The latter category has the right to take this course during the first three years since registration in Sweden.

Civic orientation is free of charge. It is your municipality that offers you the course. In the course you will learn more about Swedish democracy, your rights and obligations here and having a family in Sweden, to mention a few examples.
