Education in Sweden with UHR

After a successful first event and after it being in high demand, SDCN is happy to be bringing a second instalment of our event ‘Education in Sweden with UHR’.

The Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) is a government agency tasked with providing support to the education sector. It provides information prior to higher education studies in order to help individuals make an informed choice about where and what to study. The agency also manages the admissions process in cooperation with Sweden’s universities and recognizes foreign qualifications.

Join us for an afternoon at Staf, where Marleen Whiteley, Head of English Communication at UHR, will talk about how to have your foreign qualifications recognized so that an employer better understands how your previous education compares to the Swedish system. She will also touch upon where individuals can turn to if they have a regulated profession which they wish to continue working with in Sweden. Moreover, she will discuss admission to to higher education studies in Sweden – entry requirements, application process, documentation required, and more.

Please sign up below if you would like to attend. There is a limit of 25 participants, but we keep a waiting list. Registrations are awarded on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. As always, you need to be a registered SDCN member to attend the event.

Welcome!
