Online workshop: Identify and communicate your strengths

What are your core skills? How clearly can you articulate your competences? Knowing what you are good at, what you enjoy doing and what makes you unique is key to being successful in your job search.

This workshop aims at helping you identify your technical skills, your top competences and the personal qualities you have. You will then practice communicating a summary of your strengths in writing and orally.

This will be a practical workshop so you can use the learnings to improve your CV, cover letter, or how you introduce yourself in an interview.

During this event, we will take you through a number of exercises. You will also have the opportunity to rehearse your “strengths speech” with fellow members and get feedback.

This will be 2 hours focusing on your bright side! It will give you a boost of confidence as you (re)discover how much you have to offer. It will be facilitated by Christelle Pottinger, an ICF accredited career coach.

Before the workshop, you will need to do a short pre-assignment, gathering input from friends and colleagues about your strengths.

Pre-assignment:

Ask 5 people (friends/colleagues/family) to write down 5 things you are really good at. It can be personal qualities (caring, positive) or competences (facilitating meeting, organising events). Have their answers ready for the workshop.

So, come join us for a morale-boosting, fun and concrete workshop to increase your chances of getting a job you’ll love in Sweden.

This event will be held through Zoom. There is a limit of maximum 20 participants for this event so please sign up no later than 13 December if you would like to join.
