Social Speed dating

As you might have heard being mentioned ad nauseam at SDCN events and pretty much everyone you talk to in Stockholm, networking and putting yourself out there is crucial to land a job here, and more often than not, makes all the difference.

Now it’s understandable that not everyone is comfortable with the idea of networking right off the bat. Which is why we have put together an event with your fellow members that will prime you and set you up to go out into the great unknown and network!

Join Melis and Frieda (from the SDCN Management Team) for an online Social Speed dating event, as they introduce the idea of networking in Stockholm, and then take you through activities that will make you feel more at ease with networking.

This is how the session will be divided:

• A group introduction and icebreakers to start things off.
• A series of break-out rooms (each with a fixed time slot) so that you meet and talk to everyone in the group.
• A discussion of your work and professional goals.
• Bouncing job-related ideas and tips off each other.
• You take the connection forward, if you want to, by exchanging professional contact information.

This event will be held online on Zoom. Please register no later than 9 February. A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to your email before the event starts (remember to check your spam folder if you haven’t received it).
