Swedish Autumn at Skansen

Celebrate the start of Swedish autumn with us during a walk through Skansen, the world’s oldest open-air museum. At Skansen, you can discover Sweden’s colorful history and find out how Swedes once lived. Join us for a stroll past historic Swedish farmsteads, summer houses, autumn-colored trees, Skansen’s many animals, and admire a great view of the city of Stockholm.

The SDCN will meet at the main entrance of Skansen at 11 am and explore Skansen at our own pace. As this is not a guided tour, you’re free to wander off and discover Skansen by yourself at any time during our walk. So, even if you want to join us for half an hour, you’re more than welcome to tag along!

Also, partners and kids are invited to join: as this is a family-friendly weekend event. As Skansen is an open-air museum, we’ll also have plenty of room to social-distance, and keep the recommended 1-meter between group members.

Do note that Skansen has an entry fee, which will not be covered by the SDCN. This means that every member is required to purchase their own ticket. A ticket costs 160 SEK for adults, 140 SEK for students, and 70 SEK for kids aged 4-15. Children under 4 visit for free.

We hope you’ll join us for this Skansen autumn event!
