The City of Stockholm’s Mentorship Program

The City of Stockholm arranges a mentorship program called Stockholmsmentor. Through the program, newly arrived expats can get a mentor who is well-established in the Swedish job market. The duration of the program is 8 months, with one meeting per month.

The purpose of the mentorship program is that the participants will:

  • broaden their professional network in Stockholm.
  • gain insights about Swedish working life and business culture.
  • practise their Swedish in a professional context.
  • gain knowledge about the different available avenues into the Swedish labour market.

The program is held a few times per year, and there are a few open spots on the next program that starts on 23 February 2022.

At this event, Mic Eyre who is one of the coordinators for Stockholmsmentor, will introduce the program and explain how it works. After his talk, speed-interviews (15 minutes) will be held individually on the phone.
