The City of Stockholm’s Mentorship Program – information and interviews

The City of Stockholm arranges a mentorship program called Stockholmsmentor. Through the program, newly arrived expats can get a mentor who is well-established in the Swedish job market. The duration of the program is 8 months, with one meeting per month.

The purpose of the mentorship program is that the participants will:

  • broaden their professional network in Stockholm.
  • gain insights about Swedish working life and business culture.
  • practise their Swedish in a professional context.
  • gain knowledge about the different available avenues into the Swedish labour market.

The program is held a few times per year, and there are still a few open spots on the next program that starts in mid-November. The one after that will start early next year.

At this event that will take place at the Stockholm Academic Forum office, Ulrika Hällgren and Karin Bröms who are responsible for Stockholmsmentor, will introduce the program and explain how it works. After their talk, they will hold speed-interviews for those who are interested in applying for the program.

Update: The limit of 10 participants who can attend in person have been reached, but the presentation will be live-streamed on Zoom so you can still sign up for it if you wish to participate online. Please note that the interviews will only be held with those who attend in person.
