Using Public Resources in Sweden

Have you ever wondered what public resources exist to help jobseekers in Sweden? Would you like an introduction on how to access the Swedish health care system? Do you want to start learning Swedish but can’t figure out how Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) works or which institute to apply to? Then join us for a session where the SDCN Management Team introduces a range of useful public resources that are available in Sweden and how you can access them.

We’ll cover topics such as:

  • What type of free Swedish classes are available (i.e. SFI or SIFA) and how does one access them?
  • What kind of support can one access to help get a job?
  • How does one access the healthcare here in Sweden?
  • How does schooling work for children?

If you ever wanted a shortcut to understanding the Swedish system and how to access the benefits available, make sure to join us!

This event will be held through Zoom. Please sign up below no later than 2 February if you would like to join. A Zoom link will be sent to your email before the meeting starts.
