Chiara Zambarda is a biomedical scientist and training specialist. She has several years of experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments. She worked in a team of biologist, chemists, physics and engineers from over fifteen countries. She firmly believes that educational and cultural differences inspire creativity within a team.

Chiara is a strong communicator who enjoys helping others to learn new things and working with people from different backgrounds to find alternative ways to overcome problems. She has over five years of experience supervising students. What gives her energy is to see the curiosity into people’s eyes and the satisfaction when they achieve their goal.

Chiara obtained her BA and MA in Medical Biotechnology in Italy at Brescia University. Then she moved to Germany, where she achieved a PhD in Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research.

Half Italian and half Brazilian, Chiara is passionate about experiencing new cultures and traditions. She moved to Stockholm in August 2019 and she is learning Swedish: her favorite expression is: “allemansrätten”. She is fond of nature and in her free time she loves painting, photography and hiking.
