Vinícius De Freitas Corrêa

Vinicius is a philologist and anthropologist with work experience within the fields of translation, education, cultural mediation and social work. He has research experience in the fields of Portuguese Morphology, as well as in Human Trafficking and Public Policies. At work, he seeks to bring an intercultural and socially sensitive approach into education processes and decision making.

Vinicius believes that a deeper sociocultural awareness is the key to overcome civilizational boundaries and promote successful cross-cultural collaborations.

Vinicius holds a BA in Philology with a specialization in Portuguese Language, Literature and Civilization from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil, and the University Charles de Gaulle (Lille 3), France, as well as a MA in Anthropology with a specialization in Intercultural Mediation from the University Charles de Gaulle (Lille 3), France, and the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium.

Originally from Brazil, Vinicius has lived in Sweden since December 2017. In his free time, Vinicius enjoys reading, cooking, doing voluntary work and spending time with his friends and family.
