Ann Wong

Ann Wong is a biomedical scientist and a lecturer in Physiology. She conducts research on the cellular biology of hearing and hearing impairments. She is passionate about neuroscience research and science communication to the public.

Ann believes it is important to have an open and inquisitive mind, and that brilliant ideas often come from collaborations.

She has worked in Sweden (KI), USA (UC San Diego, TSRI La Jolla), Australia (UNSW Sydney) and New Zealand (University of Auckland). She holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Ann was born in Hong Kong and grew up in New Zealand. She moved to Stockholm from the US in June 2016. When she is not busy playing with her kids or learning Swedish at SFI, Ann enjoys going to the gym and watching documentaries.
