For the third time, we had the pleasure of hosting an event together with the City of Stockholm and introducing SDCN members to the mentorship program, Stockholmsmentor – a great initiative where expatriates over a period of 8 months, get mentored by someone who is well-established in the Swedish job market.

The purpose of the mentorship program is that the participants broaden their professional network in Stockholm, feel integrated here, gain insights about Swedish working life and business culture, and gather knowledge about the different available avenues into the Swedish job market.

At a fully-booked online event on 26 October, Ulrika Hallgren and Michael Eyre from Stockholmsmentor introduced the program to the attending SDCN members and how it works. This was followed by individual interviews with SDCN members who were interested in applying for the program.

There are some SDCN members who were in the Stockholmsmentor program, and cannot recommend it enough! We also saw a great interest in the event, and hope to announce a new date for a similar introductory session soon!
