SDCN’s Annual Midsummer Picnic

Midsommar is a beloved Swedish tradition, and is celebrated with people wearing wreaths of flowers around their hair, dancing around maypoles, and lots of food and aquavit.

Join us for our very own Midsummer Picnic in Norra Djurgården! Together we celebrate the beloved Swedish Midsummer tradition, with wreaths of flowers, outdoor games and lots of food.

The annual SDCN Midsummer Picnic has become a much-awaited event on our calendar. Every year we gather outdoors, for a day of fun, games, and food. It has become a SDCN tradition for the participants to bring food and (if you like) to share our international cuisine.

What to bring:

• a blanket
• some food and beverages
• outdoor game if you have (optional)

Sujit and Agnieszka from the Management Team will meet you at the metro station Universitetet and from there it’s just a short walk to Norra Djurgården with its beautiful meadows.

This is a community event organized by the SDCN Management Team, and you are very welcome to bring your partner and/or family along! Please register below before 13:00 on June 14th.
