Swedish Summer Traditions & Holiday Recommendations

There’s more to Swedish summer traditions than Midsummer. During this event you will learn about how practically all of Sweden shuts down between June and August, why the ads are filled with barbecue gadgets, what to expect from a kräftskiva, and when you’re allowed to eat surströmming.

You will also get personal holiday recommendations from the staff at Stockholm Academic Forum! Maria, Brita and Martin all come from different parts of Sweden and will share their best inside tips on where to go and what to visit in their respective home regions.

Swedish Midsummer specialties will be served.

We look forward to hanging out with you!

Please sign up below (no later than 21 June) if you would like to join us.

The event will be held at the office.
