The City of Stockholm’s Mentorship Program

The City of Stockholm arranges a mentorship program called Stockholmsmentor. Through the program, newly arrived expats can be assigned a mentor who is well-established in the Swedish job market. The duration of the program is 8 months, with one meeting per month.

The purpose of the mentorship program is that the participants will:

• broaden their professional network in Stockholm.
• gain insights about Swedish working life and business culture.
• practise their Swedish in a professional context.
• gain knowledge about the different available avenues into the Swedish labour market.

At this event, Karin Bröms and Michael Eyre from Stockholmsmentor, will introduce the program and explain how it works. After their talk, they will hold speed-interviews for those who are interested in applying for the program.
