Vicente T. Sedano Núñez

Vicente is a Microbiologist specialized in molecular microbiology and anaerobic culturing of methanogenic microorganisms. Aside from his Ph.D. study in Microbiology, Vicente has worked in auditing for quality (ISO9001) and environmental (ISO 14001) management systems for the public and private sectors.

Vicente believes that science and technology are the basis for progress of our society. He is enthusiastic working as a researcher, where he can satisfy his constant curiosity and at the same time putting creative ideas into practice.

Vicente has handed in his thesis and will soon defense for his PhD degree in Microbiology from Wageningen University in The Netherlands. Currently he is putting the finishing touches on several manuscripts for peer-review scientific journals.

Originally from Mexico city, Vicente has lived in Sweden for 1 year. In his free time, Vicente enjoys running, cycling, hiking, camping, reading classics, watching lots of movies and playing squash.
